I love running this time of year. I'm not really training for anything, the flowers start popping, the dogwoods are blooming and the weather is always different.
It's time to bring the blog out of hibernation. Let's post where and when we're running or would like to run. Feel free to comment or email me.
This week, CVL will be busy with Foxfield and the Dogwood Parade.
I'd like to run downtown early, so I can score a parking place and then go to City Market and then the parade. Let me know if you're interested or if you are running elsewhere.

Yeah, the blog is back. Downtown is great! I want to do 7 or 8. Looking for someone to run with occasionally on Thursday afternoons. If you are interested let me know.
uh, how early is early on Saturday? I don't want to get stuck in parade traffic

7:30, 7:45 or so....I know how much you LOVE parades! We can hit city market then head off to do what not.
Come see my Mom in the parade! She's a RED Hatter!
Yell loud!
I'm game for a few miles! Count me in!
Dena
Hurrah! We've got a group starting!
Mix-a-lot, if we park at our usual spot, we should be clear of all parade traffic.
There is a 5K this Sunday, April 26 to benefit the Syndey Aichs scholarship fund. Syndey is the AHS high school student who was killed in a car accident at the intersection of Rt. 29 and Forest Lakes South last May. Registration is at 7:30 a.m., the race starts at 8 a.m. It is at the Forest Lakes South soccer field.
Anyone doing Bright Stars?-I think tomorrow is the last day to sign up to receive the wicking socks for race day.
I have the sign-up in my bag, but can't ever seem to get over to drop it off.
